Posted on 2018-03-22 Dacromet coating process is somewhat similar to paint. After Dacromet is bought, it is blended and dip-coated directly onto the part. It can be dried and cured later.
Dacromet basic treatment method is dip coating, actual treatment is based on the amount of the parts to be treated and the size, shape, quality and required performance of the parts.
The thickness of the coating is generally 2 to 15 microns, which can be adjusted by changing the immersion time and spin-drying speed according to the requirements of anticorrosion. At the same time, the work environment is pollution-free and tidy.
When we use the shot blasting equipment for Dacromet coating, the coating thickness is determined by the process parameters such as the immersion and spin-drying time and speed. Generally immersed in Dacromet solution for 0.5 to 2.0 minutes. The rotation rate is usually 200 to 300 rpm which depends on the kind of workpiece.
The number of dipped dacromet is according to the requirements of different workpiece. One dacromet coating is immersed for a period of three to four micrometers thickening, typically two to three times.
