Posted on 2018-10-09 Environmentally friendly Dacromet coating is a new surface coating technology that can be applied to metal coating. Compared with the traditional electroplating process, it is a kind of “green plating”, and its advantages are as follows:
1. Superior corrosion resistance: The thickness of the Dacromet film is only 4-8μm, but its rust-preventing effect is 7-10 times higher than that of traditional electro-galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing or coating. The standard parts and pipe fittings treated by the Dacromet coating process have not experienced red rust after more than 1200 hours of smoke resistance test;
2. High heat resistance: Dacromet's heat-resistant temperature can reach above 300 °C, but the traditional galvanizing process, when the temperature reaches 100 °C, has been scrapped;
3. Good permeability: Due to the electrostatic shielding effect, it is difficult to plate zinc on the deep holes, slits, and inner walls of the pipe, so that the above parts of the workpiece cannot be protected by electroplating. And Dacromet can enter these parts of the workpiece to form a Dacromet coating;
4. No pollution: During the whole process of production and processing and workpiece coating, Dacromet will not produce environmentally polluted wastewater and waste gas, and it will not require three wastes to be treated, which will reduce the treatment cost.
